As you may have seen on the news, Kidde has recalled 37.8 million extinguishers including 2.7 million in Canada.
The devices being recalled are either plastic head/handle or push button type.
EVERGREEN HAS NEVER BOUGHT OR SOLD THESE TYPES OF EXTINGUISHERS as they have never met our standards.
We can assure you that we have never installed these for any of our clients. If a plastic head extinguisher is due for service, we recommend it’s replacement as we will not service them. We consider them as 12 year disposables and condemn them when they are due for service.
